The Great Lakes Cruising Club (GLCC) is a membership-based organization that offers the most extensive information on Great Lakes cruising available anywhere, plus the comradery of over 2500 like-minded U.S. and Canadian cruisers, 200 port captains to consult for local knowledge, detailed harbor reports, an extensive website with access to almost everything Great Lakes, a quarterly magazine, and invitations to scores of social and cruising events.  

The organization runs a highly-regarded educational program called the GLCC School.  Now well onto its second decade, the GLCC School offers a broad range of webinars that appeal to Great Lakes cruisers on topics such as Great Lakes marine weather, diesel engine maintenance, cruising Lake Huron, safety equipment requirements for the U.S. and Canada, and marine communications.  On their website, look at Open Classes, Recording Library, or Class Schedule to see what is currently available.
