Yacht Racing
Welcome to SJRYC yacht racing! St. Joseph River Yacht Club proudly hosts one of the most competitive Wednesday night sailboat racing fleets in western Michigan. For nearly a century, in partnership with the St. Joseph Junior Foundation, SJRYC has championed a vibrant and welcoming sailboat racing community. Our program is entirely volunteer-driven—onshore and on the water—and we are always looking for new racers and volunteers to join the fun. Find the calendar of events on the Events page in the main menu above, and use the resources in the lists below to learn more. The Club's Wednesday night race series begins in early May and continues through the end of September. To participate in the race fleet:
The Race Fleet welcomes non-members who are currently on the Wait List for Club membership. They should follow the same 3 steps as above, but the participation fee as a non-member is nominally higher. . |
