SJRYC Dominates Tri-State Chicago to St Joe Race
I can’t remember when the boats from St Joe did so well as a group. It was a wonderful, windy race with most boats in by around 3AM. Here are the amazing results:
Ron Groth on the Catalina 400 Elixir, 1st in Spinn 5, 1st in Fleet, finished on the water 14 minutes ahead of second place, five minutes on corrected!
Bob & Mary Beth Burke on the J/99 Waitless, 1st in Spinn Spinn 3, 2nd in Fleet, corrected 3 and 1/2 minutes over second place which was a J/99!
Paul Falk on the Pearson 35 Falcon, 1st in JaM, corrected about 10 minutes faster than second place, which was a Farr Mumm 36!
Andy Grootendorst on the Morgan 41 Cynthia, 2nd in Spinn 5, corrected five minutes over third place!
Dirk Kruger on the C&C 110 Sea Raider, 3rd in Double Handed Spinn
Jeff Alisch on Warrier, 9th in Spinn 1
Patrick Nelson on Thin Ice, 10th in Spinn 2
