Parties & Rentals

SJRYC's awesome pool IS available for your special birthday or occasion.  Contact a Pool Committee member (see below) for more information and dates available for rental.

POOL RULES

1.   There is a $2 guest fee which must be paid to the lifeguard.  The Club requests that in-town guests be limited to twice each month.

2.   Rafts and large floats are prohibited in the pool for safety reasons.  Children using flotation devices to aid in swimming must be accompanied by an adult nearby.  Noodles and other toys may be used at lifeguard's discretion.

3.   All swimmers must shower before entering the pool.   Thoroughly rinse off all sand.

4.   Swimmers must be able to swim ONE length of the pool to swim in the deep end.

5.   When lifeguard is off duty, swimmers under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

6.   Adult Members have first priority to pool lounge chairs.

7.   No food or glass/china containers are allowed in the pool area.  Drinks in plastic containers (not clear plastic) are acceptable, but, dispose of empties so they do not blow into the pool where they are nearly invisible.

8.    Swimmers must use only the adjacent lavatory facilities, not those on the 2nd or 3rd floors of the clubhouse. Swimmers are not allowed to enter the Clubhouse beyond the lavatories without shoes and proper attire.
