On pace to be the best year ever...
The month of August was an amazing experience at the SJRYC as it was loaded with great parties, amazing music and delicious food! The month was kicked off by the club’s Polynesian Luau which was complete with a Hog Roast, Hula & Fire Dancing (that was a lot of fun!). If you didn’t have a chance to attend this or any of the other parties you can always find event pictures at the club’s PhotoBucket site. Luke adds pictures taken by the staff and members and (somehow) puts them online :). If you have photos that you would like shared, send them our way! Other events over the last month included the Cheeseburger in Paradise Party (Don Middlebrook did a great job) and the Lobster/Clam Bake. If you’ve not attended one of the lobster/Clam Bakes, I highly recommend it as they are a lot of fun and extremely popular (we’ve sold-out every one that we’ve held!).
September should bring with it a lot more excitement as we have a lot planned for you! Of course, the Tri-State Regatta will be held the first weekend of the month & is always a blast (and a huge revenue generator for the club). Don’t forget that it is open to the public & you should bring your friends! We also welcome back Jenna Mammina on September 6th & will hold our second Sunday Brunch of the year on the 19th (don't forget that this is a reservations only event). Finally, we will offer a new & unique party experience in the form of our Rat Pack Party on the 25th of September. Feel free to “dress the part” & enjoy the music of the coolest cats in history as Matt Walch treats us to the best of Sinatra & his crooning companions. This is a party you won’t want to miss!
Hugs & warm wishes,
Debbie
New Club Menus
In an effort to always provide the SJRYC membership with new, fresh and exciting menu items, we've once again revised the club menu! We've worked hard to keep all the club favorites while offering many new options (many of which are at your request). I'm also very pleased to point out that we have again chosen not to raise food prices (and in some cases lowered them)! It's the SJRYC's own version of the Economic Stimulus Plan!!!
If you're interested in checking out the new menu and the new options that range from the fresh and healthy to the delightfully sinful, click the link below.
New Club Lunch/Dinner Menu
A new dining option will be available this season for those that patronize the SJRYC on Friday evenings. The club will be offering its membership the ability to order dinner from a limited menu in addition to the traditional, and extremely popular, TGIF dinner. This table service will be available from 6:45 - 9:00pm and will offer our members an unprecedented number of options for their Friday nights. If you are interested in viewing the new menu, please click the link below.

Dan & Debbie also want to ensure that even the smallest members of your family enjoy their club experience and therefore offer a specialty Children's Menu (see below). Sometimes the adults need their own specialty menu as well leading us to create the SJRYC's own Wine, Martini & Cocktail Menus. Don't forget that if you're interested in helping create the new 2010 wine menu, you'll want to check out our 1st Annual Wine Tasting/Selection Party!
